You'll Learn in Business

If you're in business, you'll learn that it's a mixture of good days and not so good days, victory and defeat, give and take.

You'll learn that to keep from going crazy, you'll have to let a lot of things roll off you like water of a duck's back

You'll learn that everybody gets out of bed on the wrong side every so often and has burnt toast for breakfast; don't take their grouch too seriously.

You'll learn that carrying a chip on your shoulder and loosing your temper is the easiest way to find trouble and an even easier way to lose customers.

You'll learn that it doesn't matter so much who gets the credit as long as the business prospers.

You'll learn that it doesn't do any harm to smile and say "Good Morning,"  even if it's raining.

You'll learn that others in your line of business are as ambitious as you are, have the brains you do, and are as good or better than you are.

You'll learn that no one ever got to first base alone and it's through co-operative effort that you can move forward and on to bigger and better things.

You'll learn that folks aren't any harder to get along with in one place that another and that "getting along" depends 98 per cent on your behavior.
